Teaching Positions
Sylvania Schools accepts employment applications year-round. Individuals interested in any teaching or substitute teaching positions should apply online by clicking below and using either the Teaching/Professional or Substitute application. In order to ensure your application is as accurate as possible, we encourage you to periodically update your information. All additional information (cover letters, certificate/license, transcripts, resume, letters of recommendation) may also be uploaded per directions in the online application materials, or if selected for an interview, you may provide copies at that time. Please do not submit additional information and copies to schools or the district office.
Current students should note that we understand you may be unable to transmit copies of teaching licenses and transcripts at this time. Lack of these documents will not prevent your application from being considered, but should be added to your application via upload at the time of their receipt. Please do not ask your colleges/universities to mail credentials.
Substitute teachers in day-to-day assignments are paid at the rate of $85 per day for the first 30 days and $90 per day after 30 days.
Non-Teaching Positions
