Sylvania Schools Rated Excellent
State rating system from the Ohio Department of EducationExcellence is more than a state of mind for Sylvania Schools. The Ohio Department of Education has rated Sylvania Schools as an EXCELLENT district; receiving 29 out of a possible 30 indicators. Additionally, the Career Tech classes (high schools) outscored state levels on all indicators. Receiving the banner of Excellence are Sylvania Board of Education members (L-R) James Nusbaum, Vicki Donovan Lyle, George Gernot III, David Spiess and Pam Haynam.
