The new Lightspeed Web Filtering software is now in place. Staff will still have access to the same items as before. If you notice any problems with the filtering software the first time, please reboot your machine before calling Computer Services. There is a batch install file that needs to be installed (via a reboot) to communicate with the filtering software. Machines that haven't been on in awhile may not get that utility installed until they have been rebooted.
If you are using a laptop or mobile device and receive the following screen, you can override the filter by logging in to authenticate yourself as a staff member. Once you have logged in, the override will be in place for 12 hours.
Note: iPADs, tablets, etc. will all need to do this. For example, you will be unable to access the App Store on an iPAD connected to district wireless until you have you first performed this override. This a security setting needed for CIPA compliancy. More mobile device override found below.
If you are using a Mac, laptop or another out-of-network device, and receive the following screen. Follow the steps shown.
1. Click "Not You?" shown below.

2. Enter your network login credentials and then click "browse the web"

3. You will be authenticated for a period of 12 hours.
