I sincerely hope you’re doing well, staying warm despite the cold, and holding on to the hope that springtime nears with each and every passing day. We will get through winter!

I’m sharing this email with you, including some important content from our Administrative Office, as yet another method of communication we’re working to establish with Our Sylvania Schools community. School Board Recognition Month: Thanks For Your Service to Our Sylvania Schools!

The month of January is School Board Recognition Month in the State of Ohio, and on behalf of everyone in our Sylvania Schools community, I ask you to join me in recognizing our devoted board members. They are President Julie Hoffman, Vice President Dan Boden, and Members Kim Conklin, Greg Feller, and Tammy Lavalette. Together, this leadership team establishes the strategic direction for our school district and serves as the important liaison between the community and the district’s administration. They set policies, communicate values, and make significant decisions. Their public service is a testament to the dedication they have for Our Sylvania Schools, and we thank them greatly!

Keep in mind that Board meetings typically take place on the second and fourth Monday of each month and begin at 6:00 p.m., typically at the Bradley J. Rieger Administrative building. Please check our Board page on our District website for confirmed meeting times and locations.
