Our FREE English (ESL) program provides the opportunity for interested adult students to acquire knowledge and develop English language skills to succeed in life and at work. This is where students can improve their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in accordance with the standards and benchmarks of the Ohio Department of Education guidelines.
Conversation, grammar, reading, writing, civics and American Culture are just several of the areas where students will improve. They will also prepare for the US Citizenship test and acquire employment readiness skills. Many of our ESL students, after attending classes, continue their education by entering our GED program, college or obtain work.
The English as a Second Language FALL Semester will start on Tuesday, September 5th, 2023.
Morning classes are from 9:30 am-12:00 Noon, afternoon classes are from 12:30-2:30 pm, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Evening classes are from 5:30-7:00 pm. Further information will be given at registration.
