Learn to Play Hockey
Learn to Play Hockey is a well organized step-by-step program that enables children ages 4-14 years to have fun while learning the basics of the great game of hockey from USA Hockey trained instructors... No experience necessary Affordable ice fee 8-week sessions offered year-round On-ice two days per week (Wednesdays & Saturdays) Affordable starter equipment packages available This program will prepare players for game play. Players must complete two 8-week sessions of Learn to Play Hockey AND be able to hockey stop in order to join the Buckeye Broadband (Rec) Hockey League. The weekly lesson plans follow the USA Hockey American Development Model (ADM) with emphasis on skating, puck control, stopping, passing, turning and shooting. Each player receives a jersey and hockey socks. Full equipment is required including stick. Details at

Learn to Skate
Sylvania Tam-O-Shanter Learn to Skate programs are committed to providing skaters, ages 3 through adult with the basic ice skating skills that are necessary to skate safely and competently, whether for figure skating, ice hockey or recreation. The Learn to Skate program follows the Learn to Skate USA curriculum. Fee includes Learn to Skate USA membership.
